Sergey Brin whose full name is Sergey Mikhailovich Brin, is an American businessman and computer scientist known for the co-founder of Google alongside Larry Page. Brin was first the president of Google parent’s company, Alphabet Inc., before he stepped down from the role on 3rd of December, 2019. Sergey and Page stays at Alphabet Inc. as co-founders, directing shareholders and board members. Brin is known for co-founder Bayshore Global Management and co-founder of creating PageRank Algorithm.
Biography
Sergey Mikhailovich Brin was born on August 21, 1973, in Moscow in the Soviet Union, to Russian Jewish parents, Mikhail and Eugenia Brin.
Education
Brin switched to the United States from the Soviet Union at the age of six. He acquired his bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland, College Park, following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps by studying mathematics as well as computer science. After graduation, he forwarded in Stanford University to acquire a PhD in computer science.
