Pichai Sundararajan known better as Sundar Pichai is an Indian born American businessman, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google one of the subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., he is one of the key person of Google alongside Ruth Parot and Thomas Kurian.
Pichai became part of Google in 2004, where he led the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google‘s client software products, including Google Chrome and ChromeOS, as well as being largely responsible for Google Drive.
Early Life
Pichai was (born June 10, 1972) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, to a Tamil family. His mother name is Lakshmi, was a stenographer, and his name is father, Regunatha Pichai, His father was an electrical engineer at GEC, the British conglomerate and also had a manufacturing plant that produced electrical components.
Education
Pichai achieved his degree from IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering and is a distinguished alumnus from the institution. Furthermore, he is an holder of M.S. from Stanford University in materials science and engineering, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar.
